Casting Our Net Wide

Let's unfetter our connective learning. A Thought for the Day, by Deirdre Morrison

Our world still has a pretty siloed approach to learning. While this does appear to be changing, there's still a long way to go.

Learning - and our brain's neuroplasticity - is one of the most magical things about our existence. And it appears to me that when learning is connected to fear (of not being successful, of not having enough etc) that we do it and ourselves a disservice.

We need to remain wide open to the connections that can be made between seemingly unconnected topics. And for that to happen, we need to be endlessly curious, and fearlessly inquisitive.

The world is full of possibilities, and so are you. Take steps to ensure you are equipped to realise them.
